Biography

2009 (R-Junior): Solidified his position as a key player on the front lines, starting in 15 games…finished with a pair of goals and one assist…five points were second-best on squad…netted an early goal in a 1-1 double overtime tie with West Chester…knocked home an insurance goal in 2-0 win over Shepherd…had 16 shots on the season…had multiple shots on four occasions…had seven shots on goal during the season including two against West Virginia Wesleyan…assisted on Alex Supplee’s 13th minute goal in season finale against Millersville.

2008 (Junior): Redshirt season.

2007 (Sophomore): Continued to expand role as an integral member of the midfield for Shippensburg in second season with the team…was one of just four players to appear in all 20 of the team’s games…finished with three goals and two assists for a total of eight points…fired 18 shots, including five on goal…recorded game-winning goals at Shepherd and against UDC…also scored on the road against California (Pa.)…tallied assists against Millersville and Kutztown…started five games on the year, including contests against NYIT, Shepherd…Kutztown, Bloomsburg and Lock Haven.

2006 (Freshman): Immediately provided offensive contributions, totaling two goals and two assists…appeared in all 19 of the team’s games…scored his first career points with a goal and an assist in a 4-0 home shutout of Kutztown on Aug. 26…scored his second goal in the next-to-last game of the season, a 5-2 loss at California (Pa.)…recorded an assist in the season finale on October 21, a 2-1 road loss to West Chester…started in nine contests, including matches against NYIT, Kutztown, District of Columbia, West Chester, California (Pa.), Lock Haven, Bloomsburg and East Stroudsburg.

Hempfield High School: Was a three-year letter winner as a striker for the Black Knights…high school teammates with former Red Raider Dustin Andrews ‘10.

Personal: Full name is Miles Joseph Harriger…is the son of Joe and Julie Harriger…major is human communication studies.
