Women's 1,600-Meter Relay Squad Qualifies For National Championships

The Shippensburg women's outdoor track and field took advantage of a Last Chance Qualifier at Allegheny College on Friday afternoon, as the 1,600-meter relay squad of sophomore Mary Dell, freshman Laura Henzy, freshman Erica Hess and sophomore Shannon Hare recorded an NCAA automatic qualifying time.

Friday's Softball Games Postponed Due to Inclement Weather

The Shippensburg University softball team's scheduled game with California (Pa.) on Friday morning was postponed due to rain and inclement weather striking the region. The Lady Raiders will now take on the Vulcans on Saturday morning at 9 a.m. from North Campus Field.

Kutztown Plates Eighth Inning Run to Defeat Shippensburg, 1-0

The Shippensburg University softball team battled No. 16-ranked Kutztown Golden Bears through seven scoreless innings in game four of the 2008 NCAA Division II Mid-Atlantic Region Championship before dropping a 1-0 decision in eight innings Wednesday afternoon at Kutztown's North Campus Field.
