2012 (Sophomore): Perry continued her role as an integral scoring runner for the Raiders and peaked at the end of the season, serving as SU’s No. 4 runner at the NCAA National Championships with a 6K PR of 22:23. She finished among the team’s Top-6 runners in all five of her races, including a Top-25 turn at the PSAC Championships as SU’s No. 5 runner and a Top-40 finish at the Atlantic Region Championships as SU’s No. 6 runner. Perry was named after the season to the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team During the track season, Perry finished seventh at 5K at the PSAC Outdoor Championships. She was also a PSAC outdoor qualifier at 1,500 meters and a PSAC indoor qualifier in the mile, 3K and 5K.
2011 (Freshman): In her first year with the Raiders, Perry made an immediate impact and was a scorer at several meets during her debut season. Perry opened the season with a Top 20 finish at the Piper Alumni Meet as SU’s No. 5 runner. She was also the team’s No. 2 runner at Gettysburg, where she placed 16th. Another notable performance was a 6K time of 24:06 in the gold race at the Paul Short Invitational. Overall, Perry ran in five regular season races and was the team’s No. 9 runner at the PSAC Championships. During the indoor and outdoor track seasons, Perry achieved conference qualifiers in both the 3K and 5K.
Northampton High School: Perry earned six varsity letters for the Konkrete Kids under coach Jill Barron. She was a first team all-conference selection in 2010 and also earned honorable mention for track. Her high school PRs were a 5:13 mile, 11:23 two-mile, 2:23 in the 800 meters and a 19:32 in the 5K. Perry also played field hockey and was a Scholar Athlete in cross country and track.
Personal: Caitlin Michelle Perry is the daughter of Thomas and Connie Perry. Her major is exercise science. She has a sister, Jennifer, and a brother, Ryan Wilson.
