Biography

2012 (R-Junior): Named to the Daktronics All-Super Region 1 First Team, Don Hansen's Football Gazette All-Region Second Team and All-PSAC Eastern Division First Team squad after a breakout year in the secondary for the Red Raiders...started all 13 games...well surpassed his career highs with three interceptions, 73 tackles (including 46 solo), 3.5 tackles for loss and eight passes defensed...forced a fumble in the NCAA playoffs...swiped a pair of passes at Kutztown, the first interceptions of his career, and another versus Bloomsburg in the regular season...had at least one-half tackle for loss in four games, including 1.5 TFLs in the NCAA playoffs at Winston-Salem State...ranked fourth on the team in total tackles and had at least three in all 13 games...well surpassed his career high with 11 tackles (nine solo) at Kutztown.

2011 (R-Sophomore): Started all 11 games in his second season on the field…made 29 tackles, including an impressive 26 solo stops…recorded a tackle for loss at Gannon in the second game of the season…had at least one tackle in all but one game…tied his single-game career high of four tackles in a game four different times…recorded two pass break-ups…returned two kickoffs for a total of 37 yards at home against West Chester.

2010 (R-Freshman): Immediately became an integral member of the secondary during his first full season on the field…was the only member of the secondary to start all 11 games…totaled 20 tackles, a number that includes 17 solo stops…set single-game career highs of four tackles against West Chester and Millersville…had at least one tackle in eight games…recorded two pass defenses and two pass breakups.

2009 (Freshman): Redshirt season.

Penncrest High School: Excelled as an explosive defensive back for the Roaring Lions under head coach Paul Graham...led his team with eight pass break-ups and also totaled 19 tackles through eight games...returned the opening kickoff 94 yards for a touchdown in week 2 of his senior season against Garnet Valley, the 2007 Eastern PA champions...was a halfback on offense and averaged 7.87 yards per carry in 15 rushes during his senior season… totaled 54 career tackles, 14 pass breakups, and three interceptions while totaling 121 rushing yards in his final season…selected for the Delaware County All Star Game as a senior…won three letters…also ran track.
