The Shippensburg University men's swimming team closed out its dual meet schedule with Senior Day festivities on Saturday afternoon from Donald N. Miller Pool as the Red Raiders earned a victory in the final relay to win its dual meet against IUP, 137-125.

Senior Shane Wolter cleaned up once again with victories in three events, first earning a narrow win in the 200-yard freestyle in 1:47.13. He later earned first-place finishes in the 500 freestyle (4:53.55) and the 400-yard IM (4:21.44).

Fellow seniors Drew Hagerich and Nate Ryan closed out their regular seasons with strong performances as well during the afternoon meet. Hagerich won the 1,000-yard freestyle in 10:05.87 while sophomore Joe Lahovski finished second.
 
Sophomore Joe Keefe had a very solid meet for Shippensburg, winning both backstroke events and teaming with relays for two more wins. Keefe won the 100-yard backstroke in 55.00 seconds with Ryan just one second behind in 56.44 and went on to win the 200-yard backstroke in 2:02.28.

Keefe, junior Derek Yeager, Ryan and junior Tim Smullen opened the day by winning the 200-yard medley relay in 1:39.46 while Keefe, Wolter, freshman Michael Keefe and Ryan capped off the afternoon by winning the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:29.28. Smullen also won the 100-yard freestyle in 48.87.

Shippensburg will now begin its practice sessions in advance of the PSAC Championships, held February 18-21 from Cumberland Valley High School.
