SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Shippensburg University head track and field coach Dave Osanitsch '96 has announced final plans for the second annual Shippensburg Cross Country/Track & Field Alumni and Friends Golf Outing that will be held on Friday, August 7 at Chambersburg Country Club.

This event is not a fund-raiser or a competitive tournament. The program intends the event to be a social gathering at which alumni and friends can come together to share some stories, play golf around a beautiful setting and enjoy a meal together.

"The date is Friday, August 7 and the venue this year is the Chambersburg Country Club in Scotland, Pa. This is Paul Kaiser's home course and his considerable golfing skills will be on display. Tee time will be around 10:30 a.m. and a very nice lunch in the club house will be included at 2:30. The total cost will be $60. $45 greens fee and $15 for lunch."

"Lunch will include a choice of:

French Dip Sandwich - shaved prime rib warmed in Au Jus and topped with melted provolone cheese served with side of fries

or

Grilled Chicken Sandwich - boneless chicken breast topped with cheddar, crisp lettuce, ripe tomato and a buttermilk Aioli served with a side a fries.

Non-alcoholic beverages included with lunch and there will be a cash bar for those that wish to partake."

"Please reply as soon as possible, but no later than Wednesday, July 29 if you plan to attend the outing. This is an opportunity to play on a fantastic country club course.   I hope that many are able to attend."
