SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - The Shippensburg University football team has announced that its 16th Annual Red Raider Golf Classic will be held on Saturday, June 13 from Eagles Crossing in Carlisle. For more information, please read the invitation below.
Dear Red Raider Football Friends:
Coach Rocky Rees and the Shippensburg University Football Program invite you to tee it up for the 16th Annual Red Raider Golf Classic on Saturday, June 13, 2009. The outing will be held at Eagles Crossing Golf Course in Carlisle (www.eaglescrossing.com).
The Golf Outing will be a four-man scramble format with a shotgun start at 1:30 pm. Golf day registration begins at noon and the outing will begin at 1:30 p.m. SHARP. Please be on time. The field of players will be split up into flights. The number of flights will depend on the number of golfers. An excellent selection of prizes will be awarded including the closest to the pin and longest drive for men and women. All prizes will be awarded at a tailgate barbeque at the golf course immediately following the tournament.
The cost of the day will be $80.00 per person, which includes, range balls, logo balls, participant gift, golf, cart, beverages and a barbeque dinner after the outing.
If you would like to join us for some golf and a lot of fun please complete the registration form and return it via mail or email to msmaciejewski@ship.edu no later than May 31.
Please return your registration form early because we have a limit on the number of foursomes. If using e-mail to register to hold your spot, you may call our office with credit card payment or mail a check to the address above.
Everyone is invited to help support our football program by sponsoring a hole whether you are able to attend the event or not. An Individual sponsorship is $100 and the Business/Corporate sponsorship is $150. For your sponsorship, we will place a 24” x 24” sign at one of the holes on the course along with your name listed in the program.
If you are interested in supporting the event in this manner, please complete the hole sponsorship form and return via mail or by email to Mark Maciejewski at msmaciejewski@ship.edu.

Everyone come and support the Red Raider Football program. Please call all of your buddies and get them involved with the Red Raider Football Golf Classic. Last year we had a great day with over 110 golfers participating. Let’s make the 2009 golf outing the best ever.
