SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. — For the second consecutive year, "Thursday Night Football with Coach Mac" will be held on a weekly basis from 6:30 - 8 p.m. from Knute's Pub and Grill in which fans and community members can interact with SU's head football coach.

The event is scheduled to begin Thursday, August 30 and be held on successive Thursdays through the end of the season.

Each week, fans will have the opportunity to meet with SU head football coach Mark "Mac" Maciejewski '92/'96M to not only discuss the previous week's opponent, but to also talk about the game on tap for the upcoming weekend. The format will be similar to last year's presentations.

Coach Mac and members of his staff import a projector and a backdrop to provide video reviews and breakdown of key plays from the previous week's game. On occasion, select assistant football coaches will also be in attendance.

Fans are encouraged to gather at 6:30 p.m. each week for a prompt start to the festivities. Coach Mac will begin his presentation after fans place their orders with the Knute's wait staff.

Once again, the sports information office plans to capture video of each week's proceedings and post the coverage to either the SU athletics web site, www.shipraiders.com, or its related YouTube account.
