Lady Raiders are one of six PSAC schools ranked in the Top 10

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University field hockey team has been ranked No. 2 in the 2010 preseason edition of the Kookaburra/NFHCA Division II Poll, released Tuesday. Shippensburg is ranked with 132 points, including two first-place votes, and is led only by Bloomsburg entering the season.
Shippensburg and Bloomsburg are joined in the poll by four other PSAC schools including East Stroudsburg (4), Kutztown (6), Indiana (Pa.) (8) and Mercyhurst (9).
The Lady Raiders are currently training in Bermuda this week before opening the 2010 season at the Southern Connecticut State Tournament on Sept. 4.
