SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - The Shippensburg University women's swimming program concluded the 2009-10 academic year as the champions of the Raider Cup challenge that was conducted amongst the university's athletic teams. It is the second straight year that women's swimming has won the Raider Cup.

The Raider Cup is a campus-wide, team-oriented competition that is designed to test each athletic program’s spirit, dedication, and success. The Raider Cup team competition has been calculated based on three primary factors: attendance, academics and athletics.

The winning team at the conclusion of the academic year is awarded a $1,000 cash prize designated to the respective program as well as a trophy and team photo housed in Heiges Field House.
