SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - The Shippensburg University indoor track and field programs have been rewarded for their impressive starts to the season with national rankings in the inaugural dual meet results provided by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
The women’s indoor track and field program is ranked No. 18 in Division II while the men's program is ranked No. 23. Shippensburg is the only PSAC school ranked in the Top 25 in the women's poll, while IUP (No. 12) and East Stroudsburg (No. 21) are also nationally ranked in the men's poll.
Men's NCAA Efforts
· Sophomore
Ed Buck is ranked 14th in the mile, having achieved a time of 4:13.49 at the Bucknell Heptagonal.
· Senior
Donnie Graybill ranks sixth in the heptathlon, having scored 4,913 points at the Bison Opener.
· Graybill also ranks 12th in the pole vault after clearing 15 feet, 9 inches at the Bison Opener.

Matt Gillette) broke a school record at the Penn State National Invitational with a time of 10:04.92 that ranks sixth in Division II.
Women's NCAA Efforts
· Senior
Mary Dell ranks eighth in Division II for the 800-meter run, after posting a time of 2:14.42 on Saturday at the Bison Open.
· Sophomore
Neely Spence ranks 17th in Division II for the mile with a time of 5:04.10 that she ran at the Bucknell Heptagonal. Dell also ranks 19th in the mile, just four-hundredths of a second behind Spence.
· The DMR team (senior

Abby Huber and sophomore
Neely Spence) automatically qualified for the national championships last week with a time of 11:25.16 from Penn State. The time is the fastest in Division II this season.
