SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Shippensburg women's lacrosse seniors

Hannah Sperber were selected on Tuesday to represent SU in the 2009 IWLCA North/South Senior All-Star Game on June 13 in Downingtown. The game will begin at 1 p.m. from the United Sports Training Center.
Browning finished her Lady Raider career with an All-PSAC Eastern Division Second Team selection and completed her senior season with 22 caused turnovers, averaging 1.29 a game. Browning ranked among the ranked leaders in Division II for the category while showing her versatility with seven goals.
She also appeared in all 17 games this season and missed just one game over the past three seasons, scoring 18 goals during her career. Her combination of tenacity, consistency and skillful play ranked her among the team's best during her time at Shippensburg.
Long was named to the 2009 All-PSAC Eastern Division First Team, her second career all-conference recognition. During her career, Long appeared in 65 career games, missing only two games over the span of four seasons. In 2009 she scored 12 times and had three assists for 15 points from the backfield.
As a solid defender, Long scooped up 42 ground balls during her senior campaign to push her career total to 172. Long's mix of talented play and leadership skills made her one of SU's vital players during her career.
Sperber completed her senior campaign starting all 17 SU games while netting three goals during the season. A consistent scoring threat, Sperber's highlight season came as a sophomore when she finished fourth on the team with a career-high 22 goals. Overall, she has totaled 33 goals in 63 games while picking up 32 groundballs for her career.
The trio were amoung the 35 selected to play and will represent the north squad in the game sponsored by Under Armour. The game will be played in conjunction with the 2009 Brine All-American Showcase held June 12-14.
