Women's Volleyball Prepares For This Weekend's PSAC Semifinal Match Versus California (Pa.)

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Shippensburg University women's volleyball team has advanced to the PSAC Semifinals for the third consecutive season under head coach
Leanne Piscotty and will face the Vulcans of California (Pa.) at 5 p.m. on Friday from Lock Haven.
Shippensburg (15-18) earned a 3-1 victory on Tuesday evening at Kutztown, marking the second straight year that the Lady Raiders won on the road in the quarterfinals. SU had lost its previous two meetings to the Golden Bears this season in straight sets.
California (31-5) earned a four-set victory over Gannon on Tuesday night and has won 11 of its last 12 matches in the PSAC Tournament dating back to the 2005 season. The Vulcans earned a 3-0 victory earlier this season over the Lady Raiders by scores of 25-21, 25-11, 25-21.
