Shippensburg has released its 2010-11 track and field schedule. Under the direction of sixth-year head coach Dave Osanitsch ’96, the Lady Raider squad will try to defend its indoor and outdoor PSAC titles while the men’s squad will attempt to protect its outdoor conference championship.

Shippensburg women’s outdoor track and field senior Mary Dell was named on Wednesday afternoon to the 2009-10 PSAC Spring Top 10 squad. Dell was honored for a school-record fourth time and extended the university’s streak of consecutive seasons with a Top 10 award winner to five.

Sophomore Neely Spence was named the 2010 PSAC Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year on Tuesday by conference officials after voting was conducted by the league’s coaches. Through two years of college, Spence has been named the PSAC Athlete of the Year six times.
